We started out several years ago as The Lake Park Boys and only sang occasionally at our church. Very slowly, we started branching out a little, singing at revivals and other church related functions. Our "fame" grew and we started singing fairly regularly.
Jane joined us two years ago and things had to change. It was sort of embarassing for her, although she said it wasn't, to be introduced as The Lake Park Boys, and sort of as an afterthought, and Jane. So we decided to change our name. We had a list of thirty or forty names, and growing! One of the guys was listening to a sermon on the radio concerning the legacy of grace that God had given us through Jesus. He mentioned it at one of our practices and we, as a group, immediately knew that we had a new name.
We sing a lot now. Our ministry is growing and we are growing. We like to take a lot of credit for it, but we can't. At every turn, He continues to bless us. He is providing opportunities for us that we could never do on our own. He is providing music that our audiences love, extending our talents to levels we didn't think we could attain, and providing the equipment we need. And now, He has opened the door for our first recording, "its just about hometime".

The Real Audio Jukebox player (if you do not have it) can be downloaded from The Real Audio WebSite. The "real Audio" is in streaming format which means that the song snippets start playing sooner and are not downloaded to your computer.
I use MusicMatch to play my mp3's. There's a lot of other players that will play mp3's, but MusicMatch has other features that I use, so that's the one I use. If you don't have it and want to try it, you can download it from The MusicMatch WebSite.
The server for this site does not honor the WMA format for windows. They do honor the WAV format. But the files are so large that it would take forever for them to download. It would be nice because so many of us automatically have the windows media player already on on our computers! Version 7.0 does play the MP3 format and it's a free download from Microsoft.

Meet Chris Panke, our drummer. Our musicians don't get the credit that they so deserve. We sometimes fail to recognize that. You don't realize what they add until they are not able to perform sometimes. A drummer can change his presentation as easily as someone playing a guitar or piano and completely change how one of our songs come across. |
And here's Donna Londino, the world's greateat pianist. What a superb pianist and teacher. She makes us look good, quickly and skilfully covering up our mistakes, something she has to do pretty often!!!!

Legacy of Grace at their home church, Lake Park Baptist, beside the waters of beautiful Lake Olmstead in Augusta, Georgia. Lake Park has always had extraordinary singers, choirs and choir leaders. Todd Colbert has been with us for 8 years now. He and his beautiful wife and two kids are an integral part of our church family. How blessed we are to have him and his talents. He is one of our lead singers and our coach. Seems like we spend hours on learning how to pronounce a single word. Ever try to teach a redneck how to sing "Lord" right? It really is a one syllable word! |

We would very much like to be a part of your ministry. We don't charge. God has and is taking care of us. If you want to pay us, fine. If you want to take up a love offering, fine. If you need us to sing, can't pay us, don't want to pay us - fine. We just love to sing.
For booking [or to purchase a CD ($12) or Cassette ($10)], please contact Todd Colbert at (706) 860-8264 or email him
